Perfect shoes for after hip surgery
These are so comfortable and make walking easier and less pain afterwards. Bought another pair from this company.

Comfortable
Like the comfort but not quality. Velcro straps broke way too soon even tho I didn’t use them. Laces didn’t last at all. Good walking shoe that could use improvement.

Comfortable without being ugly
I have been looking for a comfortable walking shoe. I previously bought a pair of “postal approved” shoes. While they are comfortable, especially if standing for long periods, they lacked shock absorption and were ugly looking. These shoes have the shock absorption and they are not bad looking. There is a removable insert that tightens the fit and can be replaced if it wears out. I walk a couple of miles per day at a brisk pace on asphalt/concrete. These shoes have been comfortable and I am not experiencing any sore joints like I did with the postal shoes. The shoes have features I don’t need or use like velcro straps so you don’t have to tie/untie the shoes. The velcro strap can be removed if you don’t like this but frankly it doesn’t harm the appearance and I just left them on. i would buy again.

Poor Fit
Reason for One Star: Not a standard fit and issues with refund/exchange policy.Positive: The shoes look good, are well made and sturdy, and come with 2 pairs of nifty inserts to help fit better.Negative: This shoe fits oddly.I am used to the fit on standard brands such as Nike, Saucony, Adidas. This seems just a bit shorter than these brands.I advise not purchasing this shoe online without having tried on at a store first. I tried to return or size exchange directly through Amazon, but there were issue, even with Prime. The seller has a 60 day return policy, but Amazon’s cut off for this order was 3 weeks. So I am trying to return directly through the seller site. It looks like it will work, but a bit of a hassle to print out forms etc and take to USPS versus Amazon Hub. Anyway, I think the seller (OrthoFeet) will make good on their promise, but I will keep you posted.Due to the unusual fit and issues returning via Amazon, I highly, highly recommend not purchasing these online without trying on first!Other than that, these shoes look like a really good product.

Size 12 for a Size 10 1/2
Love these shoes.I have plantar fasciitis. My doctor referred me to the ortho clinic (brace shop) for orthodics but he also recommended that I get supportive shoes for my arch. He recommended Brooks or Hoka. The folks at the ortho clinic recommended the same. I tried many pairs of both but none fit right. Either the extra build up to prevent pronation rubbed against my ankle or the back pressed into my achilles tendon. Then I did some more research and found these Orthofeet shoes. Then I found them on Amazon.com!They come with inserts already in the shoe plus two other pairs of inserts and an orthodic device that can be slipped under the insert. The shoe is “tie less” which means that once you tie the knot you never have to tie it again. Instead, you can attach or unattach the velcro straps that the laces are strung through! The same applies to the back of the heel of the shoe – velcro adjustment straps! But, most importantly, the shoe feels like a cloud wrapped around your foot!My foot size is 10 1/2. I noted that in all of these expensive brands I needed at least an 11 1/2. I’m glad I ordered a size 12 for the orthofeet. Must have room for the orthodics.I bought this shoe for walking as my doc doesn’t want me running because of my ailing hips. No worries. A brisk walk is fine. I know these shoes are for walking. Don’t know about running or cross training. They’re certainly sturdy enough.

Wish I could say more
As someone that has dealt with flat feet for 30 years I’m always looking for something that may alleviate the foot aches that come with it. I had high hopes for these shoes when compared to the local store brands like New Balance or Brooks, but I didn’t find these any better than the other brands with an additional arch support insert. When I got them I was also interested in the Velcro straps that allowed loosening for removing but not untying the laces, but after a week of use one of the eyes broke and I contacted support. After sending them a pic of the damage they said they would send a replacement but that was several weeks ago and still no shipping notice. As for the arch support itself, even with the insert and additional sole I find it barely noticeable. For my money I’m finding my usual Brooks or New Balance with a Tread Labs insert to be both more supportive and comfortable

Comfortable Fit – Great Comfort
I ordered a pair of these for my husband (I ordered a full size larger than my normal shoe size) and he reports that he is very pleased with the fit and comfort level. He has experienced significant foot problems and he believes these shoes are helping with the existing pain in the ball of foot area. We paid for custom orthotic insoles and actually believe the insoles supplied with these shoes give him a more comfortable fit than the ones we paid $400 for.So the fit and comfort level is good, and he likes the comparably modest and subdued color scheme (which you don’t always get when you shop for shoes of this type. His problem now is this is the only shoe he wants to wear right now! We’ll be buying another pair soon.

Too many irritating features for me
I has worn this shoe for 6 months now. The shoe was a bit wide to start with and is getting wider with age. The shoe is losing it’s comfort and has a sloppy fit as it widens. It is also getting uglier as the plastic is starting to crack where the shoe bends. Hook and loop feature designed to allow shoe to “slip on” is not as advertised. First because of the growing width of the shoe and second because the heel counter is so soft that it caves into the shoe when you try to slip into it. For me, hook and loop is not a good feature on a shoe. Whenever it is adjusted, it exposes surfaces that get filled with debris. Lastly, the laces that come with the shoe are over-long. They have also stretched so I can not double-knot and still have them potentially be a trip hazard. Based on reviews, I thought I knew what I was buying but it just didn’t work for me. I will be retiring this shoe and going back to a premium athletic walking shoe.

Bad fit
Ordered different shoes online before and never had trouble with USA sizes before until this one, but These shoes are Way to big. Just for me I don’t like sending things back, but they said I would get a full refund. No more buying shoes online for me.

My husband is pleased
I ordered these shoes for husband, got the wrong size the first time, so sent them back and ordered correct size. The exchange process was very easy, even though we had to pay to send them back, which wasn’t fun. However, my husband has lots of trouble with his feet and finding shoes that give ample support. He is retired military, and says that 20 years on steel decks did him no favors. But, to the subject at hand, he says these shoes are very comfortable and give lots of support. He is glad I bought them. For the support this shoe offers, the price seems very reasonable also.

Not enough arch support.
While the shoes are comfortable we were surprised at the lack of arch support. We expected better but you want us to spend another $40 on inserts for the additional arch support. My husband stands all day. We expected a little better support without having to pay more for it. The shoes are nice but already very expensive. To add another $40 feels pretty ridiculous. He will buy smethng local for one third the cost for his arches. We gave it a 3 star because of the lack of support that reduced the comfort we expected.

Very adjustable for a good fit, but not (quite) as advertised.
I like that it is very adjustable with extra insoles, adjustable heel, and other features. My feet are wide up by the toes, with a narrow heel, and one foot is slightly larger than the other, so the adjustability came in handy. And I like that once you have then set as you like, you don’t have to tie them. As far as comfort is concerned, though, they are about the same as my New Balance with OTC orthotic insoles. The New Balance with insole combination is a little less expensive. I almost sent then back, but I like being able to alternate shoes.

Looks great, feels even better.
These shoes are extremely comfortable. I’ve had pain in my heels and in my arches for over a year and have been really reluctant in wanting to buy orthopedic shoes as most shoes I’ve found look to bulky. These shoes look just like name brand snickers. The shoe comes with extra inserts to individualize the shoe to your exact foot size and feel, the shoe also has additional velcro straps that help mold the shoe to your heel. I feel like I have had a custom shoe made just for me. I would recommend this shoe to anyone with foot pains.

Sizing on the small side, don’t expect the shoe to fix everything with your foot , use it as the excellent tool that it is.
Sizing runs on the small side. I was suffering from plantar fasciitis on both heels. Pain in right heel has gone, left heel pain has decreased considerably. This is after about 3 weeks of wearing them. Side straps and heel strap enable you to fit to foot nicely. So far I like them, I ranked them a 4 until I see how durable they are.

Plantar fasciitis pain assistance
I’ve had problem with my feet for years and I’ve tried many different shoes and insoles to relieve plantar fasciitis foot pain. The instant I got these shoes and tried them on I knew they would be the most comfortable pair of shoes that I owned. I heartily recommend. That being said it’s not a cure-all for the foot pain because I still have it but they are more comfortable than anything else I have ever bought

… ordered this shoe for our son as he needs better arch support
My wife ordered this shoe for our son as he needs better arch support. When the order arrived, I couldn’t resist trying them on because I also need better arch support, especially while walking on concrete. The shoes feel a little tight in width but the arch support is the best I have ever experienced. The shoes feel very firm and stable with a high solid arch support feel. Wow!If the shoes are too tight for my son, I will order the next size up for him after Christmas and keep these for myself.

Better than expected!! Highly recommend
I have very flat feet, and I am a very heavy guy. Those two combined make for a difficult time finding shoes that I can walk in for any period of time. These shoes are wonderful. Very comfortable, easily adjustable across the back of the laces and around the heel. It comes with multiple shim inserts to adjust the height of the shoe. Not cheap, but well made and very pleased..

Might be good for others but not for me
I read many reviews before I decided to purchase and the reviews were promising so I bought them I put them on and became very painful and to be especially the planter. From the heel, to the arch to the toes. The sole was very hard which increase the pain. I walked on them for about an hour and had enough. I wanted to give it a second chance but it did not help and the pain came back

Did not help me
I have pretty bad plantar fasciitis. I thought these might help, based on other reviews. I have used these for several weeks, with the enclosed inserts. These are no better than any of my good walking shoes. They might work for you — but they are a disappointment to me. I cannot return them because, according to their statement on Amazon, they are used.

These are fantastic, comfortable
These are fantastic, comfortable, versatile, and don’t leave one looking like they escaped from a mental institution in the 1970’s. They were comfortable enough that I wore them for a 12 hour shift on concrete and my feet were not any more sore than they had been at the beginning of the day. I weigh 245Lbs and so pain control is an issue for me in general. I received them at the end of a week of 12 hour shifts and only wore them on the last day, and with no additional pain at the end of the night that is definitely a win, as I have yet to hear of a shoe that will allow me to stand for as long as I have to and actually feel better at the end of the day.TL/DR: these feel like occupational therapy shoes without looking like them

The initial fit is great, lots of adjustability and support. But the cushion in the outer sole compacts quickly and you really notice the loss.

Orthofeet walking shoes
I purchased these shoes for my husband. He was suffering from the pain associated with Plantar Faciitis. He walks daily and was miserable. He could not find a pair of shoes that helped. We were leaving soon to go on vacation which would involve a lot of hiking. We searched online and this particular brand had high reviews. He had tried several other brands which did not help. We ordered them. They are nice looking and have several straps to tighten or loosen areas to help with his discomfort. The shoes supports his feet and has most definitely help with his pain and discomfort. Our vacation was saved. We had a great time. And he is back to walking daily. These are wonderful, comfortable shoes that supports the areas that he needs. A great buy!!!!

very comfy and versatile shoes
As I’ve aged, my weight has increased, placing added stress on my feet. To counteract this effect, I decided to try these “walking shoes” and have not been disappointed. They run a little small, so you might want to order your first pair a half-size larger than usual.Even if your shoes do not quite feel like a good fit, the company that sells these shoes has a very good return policy. Just do NOT wear your new shoes outside, which can leave the shoes too marred to return.I like the feature where I can remove and/or put on the shoes without touching the shoe laces. Nice feature!

So much velcro, I feel like a kid again.
The insole is nice and padded. They are a comfy shoe. There is a lot of velcro. They are not going to last long. The velcro catches on grasses and running boards, peels back and it just will not be long before it tears or stops adhering as well and thus catching on even more stuff. They claim to work well with orthodics. They allow for them to be added but with the thickness of the insert even with the back strap (velcro) there is a lot of up and down movement causing a significant amount of noise while walking. I have not tried jogging in them yet as it has been not good weather. My guess is with all the heel movement it is going to rub some blisters.

Might Be Okay for Some People… Not For Me
Oh man… these are SO ugly. And I mean *ugly*. (To me anyway). The plastic on them is way shiny and sparkly. There’s a tacky “footprint” symbol on them that says, “Look at me! I’m a shoe for someone who’s having a problem.” The comfort…non-existent. No different than the NB shoes I already have. Way too light. Unlike some folks, I’m not looking for the lightest shoe out there as that usually (99% of the time) means made out of inferior materials. The same company makes slippers that I bought and the slippers are 10 times more comfortable than these shoes and cost 30% less. What? Anyway, I was sorely disappointed with this purchase and wouldn’t even consider another pair of shoes from this company.

Great for Neuropathy Problems with Feet
I bought these for my 87 father who has suffered from diabetic neuropathy for over 20 years. He has tried all kinds of sneakers and inserts. These Orthofeet Sprint Comfort Orthopedic Plantar Fasciitis Diabetic Mens Sneakers Velcro are easy to put on and adjust with the spacers for a perfect fit. i often have to help him put his shoes on, but he can easily manage theses himself. My father is greatly pleased and considers these shoes well worth the money for any amount of relief of pain. I highly recommend these shoes for people with any kind of pain for a variety of reasons. I know I will look into a women’s pair for my own personal orthopedic issues.

THE RIGHT SHOE
For me, diabetic shoes have become important recently, having been insulin dependent since ’79. I needed, 1. better cushioned soles, 2. A little taller toe box / keep the toes from rubbing so much, 3. arch support capability, and 4. a sporty enough look for shorts and summer wear / a stylish look. These athletic shoes are just what the doctor ordered!

This is my second pair
Had plantar fasciitis so bad that I could hardly walk in the mornings or after sitting for an hour or more. I bought inserts galore of different name brands and exhibited little to no relief or improvement. After over a year I ran across these babies so I bought the tennis shoes and the house slippers. Voila..within 1 month the improvement was obvious and by 6 months the pain was gone altogether. I wore the first pair out walking so didn’t hesitate to buy a second pair. Love them. Honestly I found the quick release velcro tabs rather useless, but they are still kind of cool. LOL

Fit and Support for plantar faciitis.
OMG I have been looking for shoes to deal with my plantar fasciitis and have ot been able to find anything that works. I have been paying $70 for great inserts that I use in my slippers and tennis shoes for walking. As soon as I tried these on I knew I had a winner. The fit is perfect and they give you extra lifts in case the shoe is not tight enough at the arch. with my fat feet the fit perfectly with out the extra lifts. I forgot to write a review but want another pair and saw these on past orders and you bet I will write a review. Fantastic!!!

Great for “heel walkers”
I bought these for my husband, and these are the second pair of Orthofeet sneakers he’s had. He loves them! My husband works in a warehouse with concrete floors and he is a “heel walker”, he puts his heels down first rather aggressively. Normal sneakers wear out in less than three months- worn every day. His first pair of Orthofeet lasted a little over a year, also worn every day. He’s had this pair for about a month now, and loves them as much as the first pair. The shoes support his feet and help with leg and back pain too. These shoes are a good purchase, well worth the price.

Good for plantar fasciitis
These ran small in length, but I definitely needed to use both spacers to get the right tightness fit. I thought I would love the velcro sides for the tires, but now I wish I had bought a pair without this feature, doesn’t fasten as securely if you don’t retie each time for my narrow feet. Good arch support though and seems like a quality product.

Great find for a diabetic with foot complications
After a spate of diabetes-related foot sores, I have started wearing specialized shoes. I found these shoes online and am so grateful. It is difficult to find aesthetic casual shoes and these runners enable me to pull on a pair of short trousers and feel both happy and comfortable waking down the street, with the peace of mind that comes with knowing that the shoes are diabetic-friendly. I purchased a more elegant pair for work and I was pleasantly surprised with how good they look on, again I can feel comfortable knowing that my shoes match my elegant clothes and that no one has to “know” that I am wearing orthopedic shoes. Will definitely purchase more from this brand.

Stability and Golf!
I love the shoes. I actually play golf in these shoes. I have peripheral neuropathy which gives me some balance issues. These shoes help a lot for walking and much to my surprise, on the golf course. This was the initial review I gave. I still think the shoes are comfortable, but it is about 6 months since purchase, and the seams came undone on the left corner of the left shoe. Don’t know if this is a systematic issue or I just got a pair that was not stitched up properly.

This Is The One!
This is the show this 75 year old, 300 pounder has been waiting for! After years of looking for shoes that fit perfectly, my search is over. For the first time in years, I actually look forward to putting my shoes on in the morning instead of walking around the house in old slippers. I loved the idea of two inserts that could be used singly or together for a perfect fit, not to mention that they don’t look like old man shoes. Thanks, Orthofeet!!

Put on your sunglasses!
Shoe fits fine. With all the strapping and adjustment that can be made, it is a snug fit. With the insert, the arch support is good for my plantar fasciitis issue. However, the colors are simply ugly. I refused the gray the local store carried because it looked too metallic. I was shown the blue from an online photo and opted for that one. However, after wearing the blue, I found that even floor length blue jeans couldn’t make them less conspicuous. Unfortunately, the shiny blue I bought is unwearable as the look like part of an Iron Man costume!Perhaps the white or black would be less likely to overshadow the rest of your wardrobe.

Attractive, Comfortable, Good Support
This is very comfortable, because I could get it in a half-size that is just right for my (11 1/2) left foot and just a little roomy for my (11) right foot. The good arch support hits both feet in about the right spot . The “tie-saving” velcro is lost on me. I still tie and untie them like all my other shoes and just leave the velcro optional method in place. That said, it gives me good support in the gym, and I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.

Othrofeet’s customer service outstanding!
Shoe amazing. Fit well and reduced the pain while I walked to almost nothing. After two months the bottom, thin part of the sole started coming loose and I put the shoes away and forgot about them for a few months. When I remembered, I contacted Orthofeet and returned them with no questions asked for an exchange of the exact same sneaker. They came last week and, similar to the first pair, are amazing. Highly recommend Orthofeet to anyone who wishes to reduce their foot pain.

but this shoe IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST THAT I’VE EVER slipped my feet into
WOW!! I’m 78 years old and have bought an incredible number of expensive shoes in the past, but this shoe IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST THAT I’VE EVER slipped my feet into. Like walking on a cloud!! I was so impressed after receiving them a couple of hours ago, that I immediately went to the site and ordered a pair of house shoes. Also, my wife tried them, an immediate love affair began, and I ordered her a pair. I’ve got almost 5,000 FB friends and will highly recommend them to my friends and family. My gratitude, ORTHO FEED, you truly care Heart And Sole.

Worked Like A Charm
I hurt a tendon in my foot while walking long distance in running shoes (big mistake). I got these in hopes that they would help…and they worked like a charm. Providing good support, comfort and at a great price, I actually have gone to wearing them even though my foot feels significantly better. A good pair to try if you are suffering from foot pain.

Really great when working long hours on a concrete floor!
I work 10 hour shifts on a concrete floor and you need really good shoes to help you survive. These shoes are great. Each pair comes with additional inserts that you can add to customize the fit that is right for you.

These shoes are very supportive after a few days wearing.
The size was larger then expected. I decided to use them anyway because of the comfort and support they provide. Plan on buying the hikers as well, but will order a half size smaller.

These provide much needed relief for an old guy…..
I’ve tried many different shoes for my plantar fasciitis and tendonitis of the posterior tibial tendon on my ankle and none have really done any good. since the day I got these my foot problems have improved greatly. The pain is gradually abating and am able to walk in these all day with no serious issues. I feel that these will allow my foot to gradually heal and I will be back to my 3 mile a day walk. At 71 I need all the help I can get. I would recommend these to anyone with foot and ankle problems. Thank you Orthofeet!
