good buy!
I have read the reviews before buying. When you have high arches and heel pain, you can get good inserts from a podiatrist. That said, these are similar to that idea. Meaning, some people don’t like them being ‘hard’. To me they are not too hard knowing my inserts are much harder. I have worn them all day for 2 days and haven’t had any foot pain. Also, I wear my slides with socks ‘thorlos’ brand and the strap doesn’t hurt.Bottomline I wrote this so others will be able to make up their mind reading reviews as I did. I’m glad I bought them.

A bit too narrow for a true wide foot. Adjusts, but lint collects on exposed velcro.
Serves the orthopedic function perfectly. I have plantar fasciitis and have to wear these 24/7 all summer long. Only issue is width for a true wide foot.Even though there is Velcro, my feet are so wide, that some of the hook ends of the Velcro are exposed and collect lint. I wish that they either had wide widths, or made the top strap longer to cover the hooks.

Comfort and fit
The velcro top enables a good fit and the arch support is very comfortable. It feels like I’m getting a massage while waking.

Not a comfortable sandal
Not the same quality as I have experienced with this sandal in the past. The underside of the strap is extremely rough and irritates the top of my right foot. Actually had to put duct tape around the strap of the right sandal in order to comfortably wear it. Do not recommend.

There are no complaints as I took a chance by doing this and the product is excellent, durable and provides the support I need
I wanted a Men’s size 7. This was not available on Amazon so I ordered a ladies size 8 Wide. There are no complaints as I took a chance by doing this and the product is excellent, durable and provides the support I need. I would like to see a better selection of sizes for men.

The best!
Love these slides! Since they are adjustable, I could wear them after surgery and as the swelling went down I could make them smaller. Good arch support.

Comfortable
This sandal was comfortable right out of the box. I have the flip flop from the same companyand wanted to try the slide. I am so glad that I did!It fit well (I am a 6 1/2 but ordered the 6) and I will get a lot of use out of these.

Provides Needed Support
These are the first sandals I’ve found that support my flat feet and help with pronation. I’ve only had them a couple of days, but I already love them. They seem to be very well-made, and they look nice, too.

Let the church say Amen
Finally found these affordable slippers with great arch support. I have ongoing issues with fallen arches, plantar fascitis, so I’m constantly looking for shoes that alleviate the pain in my foot. I had another pair of sandals that had marginal support which only worsened my issues. Have been wearing these for the past 2 weeks almost around the clock and am noticing quite a difference. I’ll probably order another pair.

I love this shoe all but one thing
I love this shoe all but one thing, and that is the strap is very stiff at first. But now that I have worn them a couple of times it has soften up and is very comfortable.

Nice shoe but wide too narrow
This is a nice shoe but the “wide” closure seemed too small, especially if your feet swell. If the straps were a little longer it may have worked.

The first day I wore them I was almost sorry I ordered them. From the second day on they are the best sandals I have ever had. Great shoe, just what my bad back needed!!

Comfy support
Very comfy. 2nd pair of these I bought. Only shoes I could wear for a while when feet were swelling up. Great support & the adjustable velcro makes them a great option for folks dealing with foot swelling.

My feet thank you!!!
I really like these shoes! I have RD (Rheumatoid Disease), I needed something for support, comfort and that could be adjusted. They certainly have met my needs. My feet can swell at anytime within minutes and these slippers accommodate that situation perfectly. I also like that I can wipe them done with a wet cloth.

I have 2 pairs that I have worn for 2 years. The Velcro on this pair is very weak and would come apart within 2 steps.

bought these for comfort, but they aren’t
They are slides, one would thing they would be comfortable since they are called Dr. Comfort. They are hard feeling and the insoles are stiff feeling. The velcro top closer is hard and again not comfortable.

Killer straps, bad Velcro appliqué
I wish I could LOVE these. The footbed is incredible, I could stand / walk on this support all day. The straps however have Velcro that spans the entire front to back so at the top of my toes I have Velcro scratch wounds as well as, but to a lesser degree, the top of my foot. I will try to file off the rough edge, else glue some soft fabric to protect the top of my feet. If you have bad bunions these straps are unforgiving, if you loosen the Velcro straps to accommodate, you risk slipping out of the shoe.UPDATE: less than 2 months and the Velcro on a strap as torn loose

Best Sandal Ever for People with Arch Problems
I had 2 knee replacements that ended up throwing my feet/arches off. I was in horrible pain. Went to a Specialist and she had me try these. They are a godsend. As soon as I put them on my pain was almost gone. I am on my third pair. They last about a year and 1/2. I don’t care. Any price is fine with me as long as my pain is gone. They fit really nice and feel great! They are adjustable across the foot area and the velcro just keeps on working. I could not be happier. You will love them! Suzi B.

Long life span; great when broken in
Purchased a women’s 9 in December of 2016. They have now started to fall apart in April 2018. The strap/velcro was tough at first, but has give with wear. Over time, I would not get the strap tight enough. I needed arch support and for plantar facitis relief and these were perfect, especially when getting out of bed in the morning or doing chores around the house/raising a toddler. Used only as a house slipper as tile floors were too hard and glossy/slippery. So comfortable there were times I left the house and forgot to put on shoes. At the end of their life the rubber started to detach, and the bottom of the slipper (gripper) came off completely. Also, with time the cushion and arch support have fallen, but not more than an ortho insert in shoes. As someone who is very rough on shoes, I am impressed they lasted this long. Now using as a yard slipper for watering plants, taking out trash and sweeping the portch, etc.

Third Time was NOT the Charm
A longtime purchaser and loyal customer of Dr. Comfort Orthotic Sandals. Our household has worn the Womens “Kelly” Slides and Men’s “Connor” Slides for about 15 years. However beginning in 2022 the manufacturing and quality control on the Womens “Kelly” Slide dropped from excellent to poor. The Velcro on the straps were cheaper, rougher and stitched on so poorly that the Velcro overhung the strap therefore scratching and injuring the skin on the top of feet.Surprised by this and thinking I got just a single pair that slipped through quality control I ordered directly from manufacturer.Sadly the same injury occurred so I returned both pairs and sent a complaint message to Dr. Comfort. Six months later I purchased another two pairs from both sellers with the same results.Regrettably I have had to stop buying this slide. There does not seem to be issues with their “Connor.”These shoes are listed as Medicare devices and “safe for diabetic feet” but since they injured my feet I can’t recommend them.If the manufacturer returns to high quality products with good quality control I will happily buy again.Note:Trimming the Velcro edges removed the scratching but also loosened the Velcro so the strap could not stay closed against the pressure on it as the foot pressed against strap in walking.

Not as comfortable as the ones I previously ordered, not sure why.
I’ve had several pairs of these over the last few years and this pair just doesn’t match up comfort wise. The material is harder and stiffer. The Velcro straps are very hard and rigid. I’ve had these several months now but they haven’t softened up one tiny bit. I know they’re meant to be a strong, supportive sandal, but they just don’t match up to my previous purchases of the exact same sandal. I keep going back to wearing my old ones.

This happened with a previous order of the same item, so it may be a manufacturing defect —
the velcro on the right foot sandal does not grip effectively and tends to come apart when walking. This affects a normal gait and you need to slide your right foot on the floor to prevent the slide from coming apart.

Keeps knee pain at bay
This is my 4th pair because without it, my patellofemoral pain would be a lot worse. This is my home footwear all year long so I spend more time on my Dr Comfort more than any other shoes I wear. I don’t particularly pay attention to when it’s fine to get a new pair: my single indicator would be increased knee pain. When they happens I ponder why that is, and it leads me to check how old my Dr Comfort is and I realize it’s been years so time to get a new one. Don’t ever stop making this Dr Comfort sandals !
