The HOKA Clifton 8 is a shoe with maximum cushioning, and its main innovations are in some strategic points of the model, such as the upper and midsole. The purpose of this new version of the Clifton 8 is to improve the running sensations with a better response, and without this resulting in a loss of performance in terms of stability and lightness of the footprint

Great for Heavy Runners!!
Im 210″lbs, 6’2″ and Hoka Clifton has to be the best running shoe for heavy runners. I’ve tried Nike, Brooks, Nuebalance, Addias…… Past shoes have caused Shin Splints, and pulled both my MCL’s. I’ve bought Hoka Cliftons on their reputation for being a great running shoes it’s TRUE. Since, I run with No Pain…. I’m trying Hoka Rincon or Hoka Carbon next. And will only purchase Hoka’s Running Shoes….all the others will only cause pain or a hospital visit.

Unbelievably comfortable
It’s like walking on a cloud. But it took me two tries to get the correct size – one size larger than with other brands.

Comfortable
They’re the most comfortable running shoes I’ve had for just normal jogging on treadmill. I’ll probably use it for my upcoming marathon.

Fell apart
This is our second pair. First pair held up beautifully. This pair started falling apart within two months. The tread came loose from the bottom.

Amazing
I walk 10-15k steps a day, these make it comfy. I previously only bought Brooks but these feel like an upgrade from them. The price is very high, which is the only downfall. I will probably repurchase forever though, just wish it didn’t hurt my wallet so much. I have metatarsalgia and these have definitely helped with my symptoms.

Narrow and the heal lip is odd.
I returned these shoes after having high hopes. I have a wide toe box (add in Morton’s Neuroma) and I had high hopes for these. They squeezed in all the wrong places that I knew within a couple hours wearing them around the house that they had to go. Another oddity was the feeling like the heal wanted to pull down my socks when walking (kind of grippy feeling)- though I admit, it didn’t, it sure felt that my sock wanted to move. The soles felt fine for the couple hours in them- that’s a plus?

The shoes fit perfectly and look great!
I liked the fit and color. I liked that they arrived soon. There was nothing I disliked. I’ve worn them for 5 days in a row and my tendinitis in my lower leg is so much better.

Best Walking Sneakers
I have lots of foot problems and my podiatrist said that Hoka’s are the best choice for me. So far I have owned five pairs and they are always great. No complaints except they’re not cheap.

Extremely Comfortable
Absolutely the most expensive sneakers I’ve ever bought but the fact they have helped me with standing as I started a job that requires me to for up to 4-5 hours I’m not as upset with the price. I hope they give me the full season I need them for.

Falling apart after 5 months
These shoes are very light and comfortable, however I’ve noticed that after about 4 months of where the reflector tags started to delaminate and I had to glue the bottom of the shoes to keep them together. Now looking for new shoes 5 months later, was expecting better durability.

A little on the tight side, I loosen the strings that makes it better. Wish I would’ve got it in wide probably didn’t come in wide, but they are comfortable.

Excellent comfort, a stylish design, and impressive durability!
The HOKA ONE ONE Clifton 8 Mens Shoes Size 10.5 in the Black/White colorway is a stylish and comfortable choice for runners and walkers alike. After trying these shoes out for myself, I can confidently say that they are well worth the investment for anyone in need of reliable and supportive footwear. One of the first things I noticed about these shoes was their comfortable fit. The Clifton 8 features a padded tongue and collar, which enhances the snug fit and adds extra cushioning to the ankles. This design not only makes the shoes feel soft and supportive, but it also helps to prevent any rubbing or irritation that could lead to blisters. The cushioning on the sole of these shoes is also worth noting. The Clifton 8 features HOKA’s signature Meta-Rocker technology which provides a smooth and efficient heel-to-toe transition. Additionally, the midsole is crafted from the brand’s lightweight EVA foam, which adds shock absorption and bounce to every step. These features combined make for an extremely comfortable shoe that can take on even the toughest workouts without causing any strain or soreness.Aside from their comfort, these shoes also have a sleek and stylish look that can be easily integrated into any workout wardrobe. The black and white colorway is classic, and the shoes themselves have a streamlined and modern design that is perfect for anyone looking to add a touch of athletic style to their outfit. The durability of these shoes is also worth mentioning. The shoes are made with tough and sturdy materials that can withstand daily wear and tear, making them a reliable choice for those who frequently take to the streets or the treadmill for their workouts. Finally, I appreciate the thoughtful details that HOKA included in the design of these shoes. For example, the reflective elements on the heel and laces were a thoughtful addition that make these shoes safer for early morning or nighttime runners. Additionally, the outsole features subtle grooves that provide traction on both wet and dry surfaces, making them an all-season choice.Overall, I highly recommend the HOKA ONE ONE Clifton 8 Mens Shoes Size 10.5 in the Black/White colorway. These shoes offer excellent comfort and support, a stylish design, and impressive durability, making them well worth the investment for anyone looking for a reliable and high-performing pair of athletic shoes.

Great shoes for running Clifton 8
I just put four miles on these shoes today and they felt great. These Clifton 8’s were a new model for me but I loved my old Hokas so much I wore them out. When I first put these one the insole felt a little weird on my arch but it wasn’t uncomfortable, and once I started running g I forgot all about it after a few blocks. These treads are more rugged than my old Hoka Mach 5’s which wore down really fast. The Clifton’s are stiffer and not as squishy as the Mach 5’s and I think I like these new ones better.

Generally good shoe; small detail a problem
This shoe fits well generally, but a manufacturing defect in the toe box of one shoe caused a blister on big toe. The footbed was uneven at the toe box and some embroidery on inside of toe area created an irritant that caused the blister. Every time I put on these shoes, that area feels off, I often have to take the shoe off, check my sox and realize it’s the shoe. Other than that, it’s a good shoe with good support.

Not worth the money
I bought these shoes for my 12 year old that has feet issues. We are 2 months in and the sole is already splitting from the shoe. There is holes in the mesh and the bottoms are well worn. He really only wears these to school as he prefers crocs the rest of the time. The cost of these shoes for the quality is not good.

They are so soft and comfortable.
I had plantar fasciitis and heard that these shoes were very soft and comfortable so I ordered a pair, but now that my foot has healed, I’m keep wearing them, so this is my second pair so I’d have two colors to wear with different colored pants. I love them !

Best In Class
I have been wearing a different sneaker for several years and as a Healthcare worker I know you have to switch up but I purchased two other famous brands and to no avail. After 12 hours they just didnt do it for me. I bought one pair of these and it was a done deal! I went back the next week and bought another pair. Expensive but work with if you have foot or knee issues.

Great shoes, sent wrong color
The shoes themselves are great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that they sent a completely different color than we asked for.

Super Cushioned and Comfortable
This is my first pair of Hoka running shoes. I don’t run, but I walk several miles every day. I wear size 11.5 and these felt exactly to size and were immediately comfortable when I tried them on. I’ve been walking at least 6-7 miles a day for the past week since I got them and so far I’m very pleased. The only thing I’d prefer is a slip-on bungee lace style, sort of line ON trainers.

Returned. Too tight
Returned as they were tight. By the way describing their size only by a number is insufficient . It is a number with a letter , that was not reported :(Moreover I am surprised this brand can sell at such high price as their shoes do not look so valuable …
